Way Cool Electronic Air Cleaner the Way Cool Way.

The Way Cool Electronic Air Cleaner is the IAQ install we put in homes where allergies, asthma, or sensitivity to airborne irritants matter. It uses PureFlo polarized-media filtration — a 24-volt electronic charge that polarizes the media so the filter pulls particles out of the airstream the way static pulls dust to a screen.

Captures particles down to 0.3 microns — small enough to grab smoke, pollen, pet dander, bacteria, viruses, and the fine desert dust that finds its way into every Phoenix home. MERV 16 effective rating puts it at HEPA grade for in-duct equipment, and unlike electronic precipitators, the filtration effectiveness doesn't fall off as the unit ages.

Electrical draw is under 3 watts — about a dollar a year on your power bill. The filter media pad lives 2–6 months depending on your home, and replacements come in three-packs so swapping it is a 30-second job at the existing furnace filter compartment. Lifetime warranty on the electronics from the manufacturer.
